Flying Eagle

The short-lived Flying Eagle Cent was introduced in 1856, although fewer than 1,000 specimens are known to exist for that year. The new cent design replaced its larger and unpopular predecessor, the Large Cent. Flying Eagle Cents were produced until 1858 and were replaced by the Indian Head Cent in 1859. Effective 12/1/2022 we will no longer stock Flying Eagle Cents--please view our Specials for any available items.
